I try to incorporate at least a little groundwork into each lesson - no matter how young the student is!

Sage is 8 years old and had some previous riding experience but was starting to become fearful.  This was only her 3rd lesson with me.

I think this was Sydney's first lesson ever.  She's 12.

This kid dove right into the groundwork and I think will be content doing absolutely anything so long as she can be around horses!

Marie was in the US for an internship in the summer of 2009 (she's from France).  We managed to get her away from work a couple times  : )

I think the smile shows she liked Java better - poor Mihijo!

... also managed to simulate some trail experience.

Dyane is getting back in the saddle after quite a few years.  She and Mihijo make quite a team.

Brooke took some time to get to know Mihijo before going for a ride.
