Wonderful website, Karen! Also, I was wondering. Do you know how to catch a spooked horse? While visiting my Grandparent's house, my grandfather shouted for me and I came running. A horse had leaped one of the neighbor's fences and was clearly spooked, galloping around the yard and spooking at nearly everything. He then jumped into another pasture (not his own) and the two mares in the pasture chased him off. We haven't seen him since, but I'd like to know how to calm and catch a spooked horse in case it ever happens again. And PLEASE don't tell me I should be catching a horse I don't know. I have his owners phone number - I just don't have the phone number of the mare's owner. Thank you very much! -Sarah.

Thank you for such a beautiful and well-trained horse! I thought our other horse had good ground manners, ha! The one we got from you has impecable ground manners! And the de-spooking you do is excellent. This morning we were putting up new shade for her, hammers pounding, plywood moving around, metal pipes clanking, etc., and there was our new horsey just standing there looking up at us every once in awhile to see when we'd finish. She never freaked out. She's a true joy! Looking forwad to long, dusty trail rides on her! (Oh, and I STILL haven't had a chance to ride her. My daughter won't let me have a turn!)

Hi, I just talked to you about your Arabian mare for sale. I was showing my mom the pictures on your website and she realized that me and my sister took some riding lessons from you in Lake View Terrace when I was in 4th grade. I'll be starting 10th grade this year.
You had the BEST horses out of anyone we ever took lessons from! Now that we're FINALLY going to be able to buy a horse I'm really looking forward to seeing Mad About You! Her pictures are GORGEOUS!!! Do you remember us? I remember you, but you were Mrs. Carson - did you get remarried?
See you this weekend

Hey Friend! I just wanted you (and the world!) to know how much I enjoyed my sessions with you. I am so pleased with Apache and what he has learned over the two weeks. I'm also pleased with myself and my new attitude!! I am so eager to learn more. Jill saw the pictures and said "Nice bending and disengaging!!!" You are awesome, keep up the good work. Talk to you soon!

Karen, Took your horse bandaging class on Sat. 2/10/07 which was fabulous!! Your presentation was easy to follow and I can now bandage myself! I liked all the different kinds of bandages, tape, gauze etc. you showed us, as this helped us to see all the different options for various types of injuries. I'm looking forward to the basic ground work training on Feb. 24th and other classes you offer in the future. Lisa
