I tested on a rainy day in January.
Mihijo was on his absolute best behavior and
we earned 100% all the way around!
Aside from patroling, I also ran the raffle booth for the fundraiser in April and had helped supply equipment for trainings. I participated with my horse whenever possible but also tried to offer much needed ground support. I deployed in April along with some other mounted unit members, two helicopters and several units looking for a missing child in Palmdale. He made his way back home that very evening.
In June our unit participated in some high school graduations. Here are some photos of us at Knight High School when we were given the opportunity to get the horses up on stage!

The wheelchair ramp we rode up and down to get on and off the stage
was not a problem for our well trained horses.
