I have been riding horses for approximately 20 years now
and have given lessons throughout most of those years.
I live in Acton, CA and currently have two geldings,
one of which I have had since 1995 and bought as a 3 year old.
Doing groundwork with the horses, trail riding and giving lessons
keep me content now. I used to love competing in team penning
and trail trials and hope to get back to those sometime soon.
I have taken in 4 horses over the years either as rescues
or simply to better their lives and successfully placed
each one of them into a good home.

I was a part of the Palmdale Sheriff's Mounted Unit from 2008 to 2009
and plan to rejoin soon. Aside from regular patrol, I deployed twice
on missions looking for missing children.
I am a Level 3 volunteer for LACDACCERT
(Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control
Equine Response Team).
I am the author of
